As SARS-CoV-2 continues to mutate and the COVID-19 pandemic is still surging across the globe, there are tremendous daily challenges spanning from loss and bereavement and mental health, to drug and vaccine development and improvement of PPE.   A silver lining of the current pandemic is the exciting clinical advancement of nanotechnology based vaccines.  Nanomedicine has enabled the development of nucleic acid vaccines.  Check out a recent Inspirational Note I wrote with a colleague on Nanotechnology based vaccines for SARS-CoV-2:
